The Maine Travel Warning was issued Monday night after an employee of a Maine travel trailer company reported a suspicious package in the trailer parked outside of a local Walmart.
According to the advisory, the package was “suspiciously large” and was believed to be “a bag of marijuana.”
The employee alerted the Maine Department of Agriculture (DDA), who sent an investigator to the trailer.
Upon arrival, they determined the suspicious package was a small travel trailer and that it contained a small number of marijuana seeds.
The company, Kite, told ABC News that it has been cooperating with authorities and that they are working to track down the package.
In a statement, the company said that it was not aware of the incident at the time of the investigation and that no one has been harmed.
The travel trailer was not damaged and no one was injured.
