Travelers in New Jersey are being advised to be on the lookout for a new “new Jersey devil” which has been spotted in the state.
The Devil is a reference to the biblical character, who is believed to have caused the first plague of the Middle Ages.
Authorities say the devil is believed in New York City, but no specific sightings have been made in New Brunswick.
They say sightings have also been reported in Brunswick, Somerset, Monmouth, Monrovia, New Castle and Brunswick.
The “new” Devil is believed by some to be a woman dressed in black and red, possibly a demon.
A New Jersey Devils official told The Associated Press the Devils are still working to locate the “new Devil.”
They say if they can locate her, she will be returned to her rightful place in the Garden State.
